This was really good. The first part introduces us to the main character and his troubles. Then the story kicks in hard with a twist. This is noir with a capital N.

Its a pretty progressive movie for its time. It needs to be shown in high schools where the topic of sex is banned in the classroom in the USA.

12.40 those 1950-60 fridges. They were click locked from the outside, you had to press the handle to open them. If a small child got inside and the door snapped shut, that was it, no escape.

I love that Mrs. Hawk's "wand" was what we called a backscratcher back in the day. It was a little plastic hand on a stick, and my parents and all the families of my friends had at least one hanging in the house. It would have been quite an ordinary thing to "Thriller" viewers!

I think everyone needs to watch this film if for no other reason to see just how filthy nasty, repugnant, degenerative sleazy and trashy our society has become. Think about this, the parents were shocked and it caused a big uproar just because of a sex talk! My God, how far have we fallen? I don't even think this would even be on the radar in schools today. I would imagine it's like talking about the weather now. With all that said how did we get here ? This was the beginning of what I believe the Communists take over of our schools, as they like protests ,they like stirring up trouble, and they'll do things like this just get what they want.

I think Barbara Perez's best Hollywood break was when she played Marta in Brian de Palma's Scarface (1983), a crime drama, which starred All Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer. The film is now a cult classic and regarded by the American Film Institute as one of the best gangster movies ever made. I am with film historian and film critic Roger Ebert when he gave it 4 out of 4 rating and included it in his Great Movies list. There is no doubt in my mind that Scarface is one of the greatest movies ever made. And Marta, played by Perez, is one of the most unforgettable villains in the history of gangster films. Perez ought to be proud of it.

I remember seeing the one of the cliff when I was a kid & I'd remembered it throughout. I'd didn't remember or know back then that Howard Morris was the husband, especially since he didn't look like his Ernest T. Bass/Andy Griffith Show type of Gruffy Character. That's the thing that made him great was his ability to play various roles & types.

Thanks for sharing this classic Rob. Geraldine Page played a good psychopath her smile gives me the chills. Poor Aunt Alice she was so feisty. I Love Ruth Gordon she was such a great actress. My favorite character that she played was Minnie Castevet the neighbor in Rosemary's Baby. I've watched that one so many times. matter of fact I watched it again this past weekend on Tubitv. She won the Academy award for Best Supporting actress for her part at the age of 73 in 1969 and she looked beautiful and spry accepting her award and gave one of the Best accepting speeches ever.

I see most that love it here were kids when they loved it…..nostalgia is understandable…..but I can’t see an adult liking or loving this series if they view 1st as an adult. But seriously WHY the spaceship? They never go back ….what TF it would cost SOOOOO much money in fuel …..a plane would be a good buy ya think? 😂🤣😂🤡
